The SOIF Alumni community is a globally diverse community, made of friends and collaborators formed across the futures and foresight space. A place where new connections are formed, and new perspectives, challenges and insights are shared.
The Alumni Community encompasses communities across the SOIF ecosystem, including;
- Next Generation Foresight Practitioners – This community is one of the largest global networks of next-generation future-alert changemakers around the world. Our 900+ members come from over 90 countries, with different backgrounds and areas of expertise. They are a diverse group of young leaders and innovators using futures and foresight to drive positive change.
- Long Term Governance – home to over 400 members who are cross-disciplinary leaders from civil society, international organisations and national governments

December 2025
As 2025 drew to a close it was only right that we found space to reflect on what we’d lost and let go, as well as what we had achieved. With so much turbulence in our political systems, funding landscapes and technology ecosystems, we had all experienced huge uncertainty. We were joined by grief experts Ziyan Hossain, Calla Lee, and Fran Quintero Rawlings to hold us through a collective reflection together. The Method Collective team have been exploring and creating immersive public art installations that invite people to reflect on how grief can shape the futures we imagine and build together.
